Due to the complicated nature of most medical problems that we deal with, you can expect to be here anywhere from 1-3 hours total. Some visits are less depending on the nature of the problem and what medical information we have to review. If bloodwork has not been performed, we will be drawing blood during this time also.
The medical assistant will go over your past history for any changes or new problems. The doctor will then come in for your visit. He will decide on the course of treatment and order any tests that he feels medically necessary. If you are having blood drawn, we will draw your blood during your visit. When the results of testing come back, the physician will either contact you or send a letter to your referring physician.
